This route was planned by komoot.
We started the tour in Kratzeburg and changed it a bit at the beginning (along the lake and across the campsite). The paths are well signposted, but could use some maintenance in one place or another (trees have fallen on the paths for a long time). There was a break at the Havelkrug in Granzin - highly recommended (as of February 18, 2024). Overall, a nice, pleasant round to run.
You can start the circular route directly at the boat rental. There are certainly nicer rounds here, but after our "paddling" it was just the right thing to loosen up your legs and straighten your back ... We were surprised by the small town of Kratzeburg with its beautiful church and delicious soft ice cream from its own production. ⛪🍦
again a very nice and relaxed lap and under 15 km, with an account🐶 He ran really well and he also set the pace. After a while it found its stride and I always have the impression that it runs completely energy-saving or minimized, always evenly... really great. The bathing area at Lake Käbelick is a good location for kayak tours down the Havel. With an empty boat and some training, you can easily make it the 30 km to Wesenberg, including the portage point (with carts) at Pagelsee, portage at the Fischer in Babke and Zwenzow lock, and also portage there using the existing boat cart. On this route, only the Großer Labussee and then the Woblitz Lake are allowed for motorboats. So a really great paddling tour. Our hike today was also really nice and the light drizzle only started when we had eaten at the mini Christmas market at the glass factory and - like every year - bought two Christmas presents and were on the way back to Wesenberg by car. So... we were lucky, with the drizzle, the beautiful route and also because the sun was visible, at least at the beginning.
Nice round! However, no rest areas / benches far and wide. Massive mosquitoes in the woods ☹
A little snow and brilliant sunshine ☀️... let's get outside! We're always amazed at how beautiful this route is. We didn't dare go ON the lakes this time, as they were already partially thawed right at the shore... 🫤
The loop was supposed to go from Granzin towards Speck (basically a left-turn loop). This time, however, Komoot was right 😝, despite the marked route, I couldn't make any progress (the planning didn't want to take me there very long, but there are pictures of the area and a route was marked; I still didn't want to try it). Anyway, so I followed the Lila Falken back to Granzin to Havelkrug (the goal of the whole thing). After a delicious pizza, I headed back home.
