The SGV Girkhausen G11 hiking trail takes you through the Bergland Wittgenstein nature reserve for a good twelve kilometers. You start in Girkhausen at the Seifen hiking sign and hike via Hallohr, the Grenzweg, the Osterkopf, the Femegericht Freier Stuhl/Sieben Ahorn, the Baukopf and via the Fuchsloch and at the lookout point to the village back to the hiking sign.

You should plan at least four to five hours of walking time without breaks for the circular route. In addition to a panoramic tour, you can also expect a 250 m ascent and descent. The route is well marked with the black and white G11 sign by the SGV Girkhausen department.
