Gravel riding

The 57-kilometer-long Fuschlsee regional tour connects six towns and two lakes. You can set off from any town and are mainly on forest roads and farm tracks - so the tour is also suitable for gravel bikes. You start in Fuschl am See, pass the Redbull headquarters and ride briskly up the Perfalleck. After a short section on Tiefbrunnaustraße, you turn onto a beautiful forest path that takes you up to the rustic Hatznalm via the Grögernalm.

After a first stop, during which you can also charge your eBike, you continue into the Schafbachtal. You cycle up and down through the forest before you let your bike roll down to the Hintersee. Several bathing spots on the picturesque lake, for example at the bike-friendly Hirschpointhütte, invite you to cool off. The subsequent ride along the west bank is a real pleasure.

The route continues on asphalt to Faistenau and then Ebenau, both places with typical inns. On side roads and gravel paths you will pass through small settlements and forest areas until you reach Hof near Salzburg. The Fuschlsee regional tour then takes you along the Fuschler Ache to the Hundsmarktmühle with its nearby snack bar. For the last few kilometers you take the Fuschler Straße, which will take you back to the starting point in Fuschl am See. You are welcome to take a dip in the turquoise lake!
