Tour description: https://www.bikearena-sonneberg.de/daten/tb/R_Mitwitz_Kronach.pdf A leisurely bike tour from Mitwitz to Kronach. Of course as a circular route - like almost all of our tours. The only strenuous part is the steep climb (around 2 km) up to Rosenberg Fortress. The effort is rewarded by the impressive fortress, the great view and a refreshment in the beer garden of the "Bastion Marie" or down in the town. The route goes downhill through the beautiful old town and further through the park of the state garden show on the way back to Mitwitz.
Very nice, brisk after-work round with Elvin. After nine night shifts in a row, he finally had some time to ride his bike again. That's why we drove a flat lap down the Rodach and up the Steinach again to Mitwitz. We went back to Kronach via Bächlein, Mostholz and Haig with a slight tail wind. Thanks to Elvin for his tireless efforts in the Kronacher KH and for the suggestion for tonight's tour. There are no pictures for that, a little music with lots of thanks. https://youtu.be/tbHZZpN2oYQ
