Even if the first view of Lake Carezza caused us to be surprised, this "relaxation tour" is definitely worth it after two strenuous mountain tours. The surprise was because the "lake" looked more like a puddle at the end of October. Nevertheless, the colors (especially in the morning) and the reflections on the water surface are worth seeing. The later views of the Rosengarten trigger euphoria and fascination.
Today's hike took us over the Passo Costalungo to Lake Carezza. After parking the car for free at the Paolina Lift parking lot, we followed the Via König Laurin, first to the suspension bridge 🌁 and then via the underground entrance to Lake Carezza. We continued through the snow-covered forests along the winter hiking trail to the "Middle Lake" and back to our starting point.
