This route was planned by komoot.
This short hike starts directly from the "Jagdhaus Wiese" (Jagdhaus Wiese). A trail overgrown with gorse leads to the Heidkopf and Schneisberg peaks. From here, you have a beautiful view of Fleckenberg and Schmallenberg, but unfortunately also of many deforested areas. If the hike is too short for you, you can continue on the J1 trail, which connects to the trail.
After tour 1 and 2 of today and the still early time, we visited the cute village of Jagdhaus near Schmallenberg. The charm always grabs me, whether summer or winter. Grabbed one of the few parking spaces and made the "big" tour around the local mountain, the Heidkopf, via the well-signposted J3 hiking trail. At the end you come out of the forest directly at the Schäferhof with a nice place to stop; what a coincidence.... 😉😊 That was it for today 😂
