Where they have demolished almost everything in Dutch Limburg, in Terhills-Eisden 🇧🇪 they have transformed the former mining area into a beautiful piece of cultural heritage / recreation area. The area seamlessly connects to the Hoge Kempen National Park🌲 You can leave the construction of cycle paths to the Belgians 👌🏼
Another tour from Visitlimburg.be took us through the northern part of Hoge Kempen National Park today. In a summery 29 degrees Celsius, we enjoyed a relaxing cycle along the Albert Canal. The shady paths in the forest were a welcome relief. More about the tour at https://www.visitlimburg.be/de/route/radfahren-zwischen-duinengordel-und-terhills
Today I drove to Opoeteren to go cycling there. Very nice route, a lot through the woods. Everything is still so beautifully green. Terhills is beautiful and cycled through the water Had a nice day🌤
