We've been planning to do something together for a long time, but somehow it never happened. Now we've finally done it 👍 We quickly decided which tour we were going to do and the journey is fairly short in terms of time. The weather ☀️ couldn't have been better. We started at the free parking lot 🅿️ in the center of Gutach, right on the main road. If it's full, you can also park for free a few meters further on at the sports hall next to the fire station 🚒. In the first 3 kilometers you've covered almost half of the total altitude, namely around 250 meters. By then you've passed the Islände hut, ideal for a short break. Unfortunately, there's no view there. You had one a little further down at the beginning over Gutach and the valley. Past the Holzereck at 427 m above sea level, you cross the country road that leads to the Landwassereck. Shortly afterwards, you come to the cattle hut in Vogelsbach. There are places to sit in front of the hut and a panoramic lounger to the side. The route continues downhill, uphill and downhill again until km 7, when you cross the B33 and then the tracks of the Black Forest Railway 🚂. Now that you have reached the starting level of the altitude, you go uphill again a few meters (approx. 170) on the opposite side of the mountain. Otherwise it would be boring 🥵 After the first of the three remaining climbs, there is the opportunity to take a break at the Bühlerbächle fountain. If you follow the original route, a visit to the Steinades Bühl lookout point costs around 1 km and 50 meters in altitude. But it is definitely worth it. From here you have a beautiful view over the Gutachtal. Then you're in the final sprint, only downhill, crossing the railway tracks once without an accident, past the cemetery and then back to the car park. A great tour and @armin.b._ it wasn't boring for a second and was great fun @Schwarzwald Tourismus @npschwarzwald Oh yes, @Rolf.J if you were wondering about the honking 🎺 driver on the B33 this morning - that was me. We caught you 👀
Looking for a tour for a half-sleep Sunday, and ended up at the Gutacher Tälersteig. Right on the edge of town, I came across a beautiful hiking trail, and more beautiful paths and trails followed. Unfortunately, the quality of the trail deteriorates after the first third, and then the wide forest paths predominate. They are all still easy to walk, no gravel roads, but no paths anymore either. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether it is worth the longer journey! The only highlight is the schnapps fountain. Not directly part of the trail is the impressive soldiers' memorial in Gutach by the church.
A nice connoisseur's path but without any special highlights... easy to walk with some beautiful paths, root trails, narrow paths, but also some with forest highways. Mostly in the shade. Some beautiful views. Alpaca, Angus cattle and goats could also be admired. At the end of the tour, stop at a Greek restaurant with great food.
Today we went to the Gutacher Tälersteig. This is one of the Black Forest pleasure trails and is specified with a length of 12.9 km. Optionally, you can make a detour to the Moserstein on the way, with its viewing pavilion, which extends the tour by approx. 1.7km. The beginning of my recording started a little earlier, so that the kilometer indication does not quite match. The path leads from the town center uphill over the Isländle to a grill hut in the Vogelsbach. From there it goes downhill again and over the Steinenbachtal back to the Gutach valley. It continues, past the Ebersbauernhof with its schnapps fountain, to Hasenköpfle and then on to the beautiful Steinadesbühl, from which you have a beautiful view of Gutach. Shortly afterwards you can choose either the direct route back to the village or the optional Moserstein loop. The latter is worthwhile, but brings another small climb with it😉
Today I hiked the Gutach Valley Trail in almost spring-like temperatures. A fair amount of elevation gain, but absolutely beautiful.
Connoisseur path - Gutacher Tälersteig with Moserstein loop Start Sunday morning in Gutach at the central parking lot at the corner of B33 / Kirchstrasse, ideal weather, it looked like rain. The entire tour leads over good paths and is well signposted. There is mostly quiet, a lot of forest and a few viewpoints. At the beginning it goes steadily uphill and after about 45 minutes the highest point was reached just below the Viehütte on Vogelbach. Then it went back down into the valley via Vogelbach and Steinenbach. Shortly before crossing the valley, I met the farmer and farm dog at the Oberrainbauernhof, both of whom were surprised that someone came by shortly before half past eight. On the other side of the valley, slowly increasing to the Hasenköpfle, then a little downhill to the Steinades Bühl lookout point and back up to the Moserstein. The detour to the Moserstein is optional and strenuous, but highly recommended. From here you can get back to the village in no time. Notes on taking over the tour: Km 0.0: You can skip the few meters to the war memorial, I thought I would take photos before it might rain later. Km 0.6: I took over the detour when I imported the gpx data, there is nothing here Km 13.3: I went wrong on the Moserstein, don't imitate it
A beautiful hiking trail around Gutach with varied forest paths and views of Gutach and the Black Forest. At almost 30° and with constant inclines in between, the forest was soothing and drinking a lot was helpful. The small additional Moser Stein loop (approx. 1 km longer) is highly recommended because you have a wonderful view of Gutach and its hinterland from a pavilion created there. With some really good weather, I had a really nice tour today. The Rommelehof is the starting and ending point of our tour. 🌲🌳🦋🐛🪲 The tour can obviously be completed much faster; my Garmin also records the time I'm sitting, so I have to get into the habit of taking breaks... overall, it's really manageable and not too demanding.
