Kneipp therapy right in the stream. What a great idea! The facility is beautifully designed. There's only one thing to do: jump into the stream!

Memmingen city stream

Highlight • River

No trickle, but a lively, flowing stream with crystal-clear water. A little further from the city center is also a retreat for birds.

Hintergraben Canal in Untere Bachgasse

Highlight • River

We really liked this route because the Ach flows through the streets almost like in Holland and is crossed by bridges again and again. An ice cream at Otto's Eiscafe rounds off the route perfectly.

St. Martin's Church, Memmingen

Highlight • Religious Site

The Martinskirche stands in the heart of Memmingen. From the market square you can look directly at the choir stalls of the nave and one of Memmingen's landmarks, the Martinsturm.

After the short hike this morning, we explored Memmingen this afternoon. A beautiful city whose charm is probably even more apparent when the sun is shining.
