Beautiful varied route through the countryside. Contains 8km of single track, so plenty of room to catch your breath in between 😉
MTB route Markelo (purple) The MTB route near Markelo is 30 kilometers long and has approximately 200 meters of elevation. In the area, approximately 7 kilometers of new single tracks have been constructed, including on the Herikerberg, along the Hulpe, over the Markeloseberg and the Kattenberg. The route is a real challenge for mountain bikers! Smooth and fast and like greased lightning through 'Hof van Twente' MTBing. Nice route in Overijssel.
Nice environment. Some sections were closed due to construction. It was still nice though. I made a few more meters in height than original
It is a varied route with short bends, long and short single tracks that alternate with (mostly unpaved) paths over rolling terrain and with technical single track that contains small climbs and descents. Special is the high bridge over the railway.
Beautiful XC route with a lot of variety in both trail and environment. The route has some good flow sections with nice curves. A number of pieces of paved in between connect the pieces of forest with each other and give the space to catch your breath again. Can be combined with (and can be started from) the small bike park in Goor.
