Four huts Tour on the Gerlitzen

On this hut tour on the south and west side of the Gerlitzen Alpe, culinary delights and regional cuisine await you. The Gerlitzen Kanzelbahn cable car takes you from Annenheim on Lake Ossiach to the starting point at 1,450 meters. The circular route begins leisurely. It proceeds on wide paths, past the reservoir, through beautiful, light forest.

The Steinwender Hütte is the oldest managed hut on the Gerlitzen. Here, the Sagmeister family spoils you with many delicacies, with a magnificent view. Continue to the Gerlitzen Hütte, which is unfortunately not managed. However, fresh meals are cooked daily at the Kammerhütte, your next destination. This hut is even open daily until October.

It goes up and down to the last hut on this tour. On the sun terrace of the Pöllinger Hütte, you will be served hut classics, such as Kaiserschmarrn and Brettljause, as well as homemade Gerlitzen cake. Full and satisfied, you then hike only downhill back to the Gerlitzen Kanzelbahn, which takes you back to the valley with a beautiful view of Lake Ossiach.
