What a finale😍❗️ The box of planned tours is empty🧹🙃. Of course, the many diamonds and brilliants discovered belong in a new treasure chest💎💫🤗. For our last hike🥾, Canada showed off its most beautiful side with all its facets🌲👁🐿🌊🌳🪵🏖🪨 including fantastic light shows 🌤🌫❣️ In the small Taylors Head Provincial Park, we climb and wind our way over rooted trails🥾, some of which are even too narrow to put both feet next to each other😃. We constantly stop to inhale the fantastic surroundings 🤩. The section just before and after the "Head" is along a stone wall🌊. The Head itself is a magnificent plateau with heath🌸 and rocky landscape🪨. There we discover our first living North American porcupine🦡. Unfortunately, up until now, these had only been lying on the side of the road 🩸🪦😪. A second one crosses our path again a little later🙃. There are three short wooden steps 🪜 to climb and some passages were pretty muddy after the night's rain😖. That's just part of it😀. The last few meters of this great loop 🔄 run along the white sandy beach 👍and.....you can probably guess🤣👏👋. If you're afraid of the big loop to the headland (yellow marked path) you can also do a smaller loop (red marking). Dear friends! It filled me with great joy that so many of you accompanied me on this journey with such perseverance😊. Thanks a lot and a huge hug to all of you🫂❣️ See you soon 👋.
The last major hike for us here in Canada, this time as a Coastal Trail - I feel really at home here... Stone beaches over which the receding waves make these lovely rolling noises, great views of the coastline - similarities to our trip to Wales emerge. At the top then the Atlantic ahead, huge natural breakwaters against which the incoming sea thunders, spray foams and reaches us fascinated hikers in fine pearls and envelops us - time to linger and also say goodbye to this great country. A really super nice tour and maybe an idea for your next vacation 😉? Have fun 🙋🏼♀️
