Very beautiful panorama and a great photo hotspot. The lake can be used for swimming, very refreshing, especially in summer, but also quite cold... The food is good, price/performance OK.

July 29, 2024,Allgäu T4 // Auf den Iseler (1.876m) ab Oberjoch
What a wonderful day with a great hike...

After the rain annoyed us a little yesterday, the weather was perfect today. We took advantage of this to hike from Oberjoch to the summit of the Iseler (1,876 m).

A wonderful tour with great views and incredibly beautiful panoramas. The path at the top could be extended over the ridge, but …

Today we went up with the Wiedhag chairlift (too hot to walk 😜)
To hike into the valley on the Iseler, including a stop at the lower Ochsenalpe 👍, it went back a bit through the torrent ravine.

The parking lot at the chairlift was free, respect 👍!!!

Iselerplatzhütte is no longer open! Seating is still available, though! It's worth a detour.

Still a comfortable final tour, almost up to the Iseler and down over the Ochsenalpe.
The altitude meters are wrong...why Komoot always crashes there🤔 I have no idea.🙋🏽🙋🏻‍♀️

The plan was actually to continue walking at the Iseler mountain station to the Wiedhag-Alpe. Because of the snow, however, no path was visible and we decided to descend cross-country.

Very beautiful and knee-friendly tour. Descent with the Wiedhagbahn and the bus back to the chalet.

The cable car and bus are included in the Bad Hindelang Plus card!

Please check beforehand whether the Wiedhagbahn is running or whether the Iselerbahn is in operation.
