This route was planned by komoot.
The weather played along and so after a long break we finally went back to Café Ehrgarten to enjoy the world's best cake in the beautiful garden. We didn't park in the large parking lot behind the café, but on a side parking lane on one of the village streets in Quaal near the café. It's a wonderful tour, especially when the rapeseed is in bloom. I love the old linden and chestnut avenues, the little wood on Lake Wardersee. Today we spent some time on the playgrounds in Quaal and Wardersee so that the little man got his money's worth (forgot to pause Komoot). The way back was a short distance on the pedestrian path on the B432, until it went back to Quaal and the Ehrgarten café at the level of the Krögsberg settlement over a field path with a hedge. From there it went to the car. The tour can be extended with a hike around the Klüthsee & Kagelsberg and via the Stipsdorfer Weg back to Quaal or, if you prefer it longer, with a hike around the Großer Segeberger See. Today's tour is marked with a blue marking on poles and trees. It is a tour on the Holstein Switzerland side and is absolutely suitable for pushchairs. There are also benches from time to time.
