We started the tour from Stockach. It was a bit confusing at first, as the route described ran through impassable wilderness. We took a small detour through construction and were then able to follow the route. Stages alternated between bike paths next to busy roads and then through forests. I particularly enjoyed the Stockacher Aach and the section from Bodman to Ludwigshafen. From Ludwigshafen, we took a parallel route through the forest on recommendation. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the tour as much as we did because dark storm clouds were hanging over us.
Along the Stockacher Ache to Stockach to the market, on to Ludwigshafen to the customs house, then through the Stockacher Ache nature reserve, along the lake to Bodman the sea route almost to the Marienschlucht, which unfortunately is still closed
