This route was planned by komoot.
...to drink coffee :) "Yes, girl, did you borrow your car? The train isn't on strike. You didn't ride your bike from Erfurt. Jesus!" My heart was overflowing with joy and I hugged my aunt. That alone makes 70km by bike worth it. I also really like the Nessetal cycle path. I always enjoy riding it.
I spontaneously went to the Eisenach theater with a friend to see Stephen King's "Misery." Highly recommended. Really good. And I'm not usually a fan of this kind of literature.
Forgot the power bank...no more photos. Save power.🤣
Visited my aunt's house in a headwind, which was really blowing up at Kindel. A quick detour to the Friemar reservoir and a visit to the birdies. This time, the first part of the route was in great company and had some lovely conversations.
With a strong tailwind, today we're heading from Erfurt via Schmira to the Nessetal Cycle Path. Then over the Kindel to Eisenach. Cycling is twice as fun with such a wonderful tailwind.
...with in places unmistakable signs of storm...
NesseRadweg a bit boring - behind Eisenach section through a large industrial area
