Hiking
From Rueras train station, you hike about 14 kilometers through a beautiful alpine landscape on this circular tour. The highlight of the tour is the Hexensee. The water is as smooth as glass and shows off the mountain panorama to its best advantage. You can take a break on the shore of the lake and recharge your batteries before descending back into the valley.
The mountain tour requires surefootedness and good alpine knowledge, because the relatively new path is steep and in parts not yet easy to see. So be sure to follow the white/blue trail markings.

Comments
The ascent via Alp Mila/Paliu Cotschna to the lake is red and white/ T3.
The path from the lake over the pass to the other side is a blue and white path and leads directly after the pass into a scree field, after which it is not always easy to find.
