We ran the middle lap today. Parking lot and signage are great. But it is a hiking trail with no major sights. Nice and quiet. Lots of forest. It is a shame that the paths are only straight and the gravel surface is not good to walk.
Unfortunately, we didn't meet a forest ranger, but given the constant rain and broken forest paths, that doesn't surprise us either. As the name suggests, this tour leads through extensive forests. This forest area is also a lasting proof of the reforestation after the fire catastrophe in 1975. The uniform age structure can still be clearly seen in many places. All in all, a tour that is not fun at all when it rains. But it must be wonderful here in spring or autumn. Through the many verses Tree species (beech, pedunculate oak, pine and Douglas fir) the diversity of species can certainly be heard and seen. But apart from a jay we didn't see anyone :-)
