A leisurely ride in glorious sunny Sunday weather through our beautiful white and blue mountain and lake landscape. Unfortunately, the order of the pictures doesn't correspond to the current mileage. I don't know why. The current order of the lakes visited was: 1. Chiemsee, 2. Pelhamer See, 3. Weitsee, 4. Obinger See, 5. Griessee, 6. Klostersee 7. Hammerschmiedweiher, 8. Eschenauer See 9. Hartsee, 10. Einbessee, 11. Kesselsee, 12. Langbürgner See.

Nice round 🚴 ♂️ on mostly field and side roads. There's also a lot to see ⛪️🗿 and much more, as well as an opportunity to stop off 🍺☕️🍰. I really liked the ostrich farm in Allerding 😊👍.
Today we did another tour that we did in a similar way 3 years ago. The Eggstätt Hemhofer Lake District. We passed a total of 16 small and large lakes. Partly on main and secondary roads, but the majority of the route was forest, meadow paths and gravel routes. Here too we had to re-plan a few routes due to flooding. Overall a wonderful tour with lots of views of the Alps.
Info: A very nice tour but driving through the Hemhof-Eggstätter Lake District was unfortunately closed that day due to the storm damage with a lot of fallen trees and we had to turn around and go around the outside of the tour via the ST2095 to Eggstätt. p.p. info In the town of Aiglsham, just before Pittenhart, you pass the property of the well-known couple from RTL Bauer sucht Frau "Josef and Naromol".
I got the tour from a work colleague and then looked up the route on the internet. About 90% asphalt, mostly back roads. Very few cycle paths. You get close to the lakes, but you don't see all of them. Instead, you cycle through lots of small towns where the agriculture is in the air. At the end, near Hartsee, I take a shortcut on an easy trail. Saves kilometers and gives you a bit of gravel under your wheels. Nice tour, if I do it again I would probably do a few tricks to get more off-road.
So that was the last tour, and my best, the weather, the temperature and the paths almost only dirt roads, farm roads. A few streets but with bike lanes. Gradients were kept within limits, a maximum of 10 - 12% and only briefly. 😁🤣 However, the tires should not be too narrow. Frank is the right tour for you I would never have expected so many small and large lakes here, and you can swim everywhere 👍🤷🏻♂️ but most of them are cold 😱
