A very nice tour. But it's also quite challenging... 😉 Not at first glance. The good thing... When you reach the saddle of the Haberspitz, the highest point of the tour, you're already happy because after that, everything is quite relaxed... What's really exhausting is the constant climb without any plateaus or significant dips... While the gradient was initially in the single digits, it quickly turns into double digits... 😉 It's good, on the other hand, that the climb is nice and wooded, and later on, there was a light breeze at the top... So, in that respect, it was absolutely pleasant... The highlight, of course, are the views of the mountains, the nearby Kampenwand, and Lake Chiemsee... Simply wonderful.... 🌞 In my opinion, the Piesenhausener Hochalm is the best... 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 The downhill route is very nice, with everything from gravel paths to singletrack... Highly recommended in any case... 👍🏻

Today I did a bike and hike to the Hochplatte. The climb up was quite sweaty (also because of the heat). But you are rewarded with a great view at the top. A long stop for a delicious snack is also part of the experience. After eating, I left the bike for a while and walked up to the Hochplatten summit. Back on the bike, I started the downhill. The top section was a bit too tough for me, so I pushed it in a few places. We are starting a 3-day Karwendel tour the day after tomorrow - so my body and bike should stay intact. 😂 The new ROCK N ROLLA starts from the mountain station - no less than the first legal MTB trail in Chiemgau. 🤩 And what a trail! I would say: not for beginners. 😂 I have to go down there a few more times until it runs really smoothly. 😁 But it was definitely a lot of fun and it certainly won't be the last time I go... 🤙

...anyone who normally only dances foxtrot or twist will reach the limits of their abilities with "Rock 'n' Rolla" - there are some parts that go towards S3 - material and people arrived at the finish line undamaged🥵😵‍💫...

Today the @Reparl has planned a bit of rock'n'roll. It was a lot of rock and not a lot of roll, and was once again the most challenging trail I've ridden so far. We could ride almost everything, but it was really challenging S2, S3 🥵When we got to the bottom, our adrenaline levels were at their limit, and the rest of the tour was like being in a trance. 😳😉🤗 Thank you for the whole package.

After it had rained a bit in the morning, the small standard tour on the Hochplatte only started at noon. Bike ascent, as always, a steep climb (almost in two digits throughout, mostly around 14%, max. 20% incline) to the unmarked path over the east ridge. At the summit in the clouds, it ripped open for a very short time. Descent this time via the north side and then a longer descent via Rottau, which is by far not as narrow and steep as the ascent.

A new trail at the Hochplatte?! We have to try it out! Even though yesterday's weather (lots of rain) promised rather muddy conditions, we started in Bernau. The sun did come out - but it was really cold for September... And it stayed that way all day... The ascent to the Haberspitz is really steep, especially in the final part. Well - at least we got somewhat warm.... At the top, a few patches of fog awaited us and the short descent to the alpine pasture was, thank God, soon completed. The view from the Piesenhauser Hochalm is really sensational! The apple pie too! Wrapped in a blanket, we sipped the warm coffee... Now, below the Haberspitz and the Friedenrath, we went slippery, slick and muddy to the mountain station of the Hochplattenbahn. Our fingers were rather clumsy due to the cold... ;-) The Rock 'n' Rolla was recently opened and goes to the valley station. A good 2 km and almost 400 Tm. Certainly good and nice to ride in dry conditions. Not much fun in wet conditions due to the wet and sloping roots and the slippery ground. In my opinion there are no S3 sections (when it's dry). But it's definitely an S2! At the end it was a happy up and down to the Rottau waterfall and back to the train station in Bernau. A successful tour - even if it was cold and slippery... https://www.relive.cc/view/vWqBZyLKJYq

Finally a higher goal could be aimed for, because today there was no rain in the morning 😀. That's why we went straight up to the Piesenhauser Hochalm as a stop, which is highly recommended, there are very tasty snacks and also coffee and cake. Then down towards Marquartstein and back along small trails along the stream! .
