Very nice route. Very varied. At the end forgot to enter a forest path. But this did not spoil the fun.
That was another very nice tour. 🤩🤩🤩 First, it's a relatively steep climb up the Bomm ridge, which takes you to the Ueweschleed viewpoint. It's worth taking a look back at the starting point, the tranquil town of Kautenbach. In the forest, you can discover the Doosbach bunker, which served as a shelter during World War II. And then there are the views from Hof and Hockslee, which I really liked. 🤩☺️ What more could you want? Right! Beautiful narrow paths! 🥾 You'll find those on this tour, too. And what a treat. 👌🏼 To top it all off, there's a few meters of elevation gain. 😉 This trail is highly recommended.
Some parts are challenging. But you will be rewarded as it has some stunning views. I would like to do it again on the opposite direction.
For me an absolute favorite, stands very far up and is with the Hoflee at the end just as fluffy as beautiful, because it has to march them up and that has it quite in itself.
Today we picked out a real hiking trail. The bunker trail. Info: https://www.visitluxembourg.com/bunker-circular-walk During the Second World War, conscientious objectors and deserters hid here from the war. The main thing for us on this round was the steep meters in altitude and the paths. I can only say: A dream! Actually, the round should belong to the dream paths. Mainly on paths in the forest, over hill and dale, on the countless "Lee's" and mostly with a fantastic view. All this on 90% path share. Great round! The sun finally came out today and we had to stop in amazement at some of the hills because the view and the warming rays of the sun did us so much good. However, when the sun had disappeared behind the clouds and we were standing on hills, it was freezing cold 🥶 Absolute recommendation from us to hike this round. Great experience! June 29, 2024: A combination of two Eislek trails in central Luxembourg. A walk with technical parts; narrow steep drops. Also a beautiful section over a ridge. Definitely a beautiful, sporty and varied walk for the experienced walker.
