Beautiful lake (relatively small compared to Lake Constance, but still quite large). Beautiful, varied bike paths right along the shore. Benches are scattered throughout.

A wonderful circular tour, especially in such hot temperatures as today. The cycle path from Güttingen is often through the forest and surrounded by untouched nature. The best place to replenish your vitamins is the Adler in Güttingen, with its good, home-style cooking. 😋. Compliments to the local authorities around Lake Überlingen – excellent cycle paths in very good condition. Bravo!

Last day of vacation 😘🚴 Nice bike tour again 👍☀️ .. It was a wonderful week 🙏 But now also joy at home 🙋

We started in Espasingen, continued via Bodman and Mindelsee to Wallhausen, where we took the ferry to Überlingen. From Überlingen, we passed Sipplingen and Ludwigshafen and returned to the car.

DANGER!!! The planned shipping line does not operate on weekends!🤷‍♂️ My tip: continue along the shore via Meinau to Staad and from there take the ferry to Meersburg (€5.80) then back to Überlingen. 23 km longer!

A very nice tour that shows the cyclist another side of Lake Constance. On this tour, some stretches are roughly gravel, so that tracking wheels with wider tires have a clear advantage. The route leads past the Mindelsee nature reserve. A wonderful lake (see pictures). The fare for the ferry costs EUR 6.80 for one person including bicycle (as of August 2021). There is an official bathing area where bathing is allowed. So don't forget your swimwear. I wish everyone who drives the route a lot of joy!

A beautiful ride in glorious weather. Plenty of sunshine 🌞 but not too warm. The second half of the tour was a bit of a challenge for us "flatland cyclists" 😁. 🤪 But it was still fun. 😎

Maybe the tour is nice in sleet on a dark Thursday evening. But not at the beginning of the season in good weather. Zero recommendation. The bike path is squeezed in somewhere where there was barely 1.5 meters of space. Chaotic parking lot, cars all over the place, unable to park, unable to go forward or backward, and at the same time the parking lot is a bike path. I only give it one obligatory star.

Today we did a round trip from Ludwigshafen to Überlingen, then by ship to Walhausen and past Mindelsee in the direction of Radolfzell, from there back to Ludwigshafen via Bodman. 🚲 Was a really nice e-bike trip.
