Last day of 14 days on trails. The motto is to give it your all one more time, so up to the Hörnli, down to Lenzerheide via Urdenfüggli and Pipe. Both trails are similar to the WU Trail on the Wexl or the Ollweite in Sölden. If you don't have any cornering technique yet, you'll learn it quickly or get off often. Lenzerheide is a place that's worth a visit. The lake is particularly attractive with its many activities (a Mannerschnitten break on the lake shore is basically the bare minimum). Strengthened, the gondola rocks me up to the Rothorn - one of the most beautiful mountain stations I know. The trail (I choose the difficult option) is very demanding - strength and technique are really required now. After the trail, I had to go a little further down to refill my water supplies before the ascent to the Culmet Pass begins. You could push the bike, but I prefer days. It gets cooler and more lonely, the ground becomes more rugged. Towards the end, surefootedness is required. The steep hiking trail leads over fine scree on the slope. A short breath of fresh air at the pass, a short trail, another smaller pass, S4 section. Now every move has to be perfect - for a few meters the path is very washed out in very steep terrain. The Furcletta Pass has to be earned. The last few meters of altitude are easier. Joy spreads. A surprisingly easy, long alpine trail follows - the flow is hardly interrupted. It gets warm again, an impressive alpine panorama underlines the flow. Concentration must not drop yet - but after almost 3000 meters of single trail, a pleasant feeling of satiety sets in. And hunger. A tour with a lot of impressions.
Epic tour with several long pushing sections up and the most beautiful trail descent (10 km) in Graubünden. 🤙🏼
