Small easy round, with a great view. Food at the Tanzbodenalm was very tasty.
Today, on our arrival day, we first wanted to enjoy the perfect view of the Wilder Kaiser. That's why we chose this hike. And what can I say: the cover photo speaks for itself. At the beginning, it didn't look like the peaks would clear again, and in between, it clouded over even more, but in the end, we got this picture; perfect with a calf in front of it😁😁😁 Since it was supposed to rain in the afternoon and we still had the drive behind us, we took the cable car up to Brantstadl and then back again. The tour is easy to walk, even in sneakers it shouldn't be a problem. There aren't any proper signs, but there are benches to enjoy the view. At the Tanzbodenalm, we had the first Kaiserschmarrn of the vacation😁. A short, at times breathtaking tour!
Very comfortable panoramic tour with a view of the beautiful Wilder Kaiser. The weather was great with 27 degrees and a very light breeze. Visibility was almost perfect. The views were fantastic. 🤩🥰😎👌
Escaping the heat was a good decision as we took the cable car to the Hartkaiser at 1,550 meters. The fresh mountain air offered a welcome cooling. On the panoramic trail to the Brandlalm, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. Once at the top, we treated ourselves to an aromatic cappuccino and a refreshing wheat beer. The combination of delicious drinks and the impressive natural surroundings was simply perfect. An unforgettable day in the mountains, one that provided relaxation and enjoyment.
Great round with mega views, just beautiful and highly recommended.
On the Hartkaiser in Ellmau, Ellmi's Zauberwelt animates you on a mystical journey in the footsteps of the sorcerer's apprentice Ellmi, who was turned into a large frog by goblins. The magical enchanted forest with its talking trees, the goblin hut and the rainforest await young and old helpers from Ellmi with exciting tasks and puzzles. The magician Tumaris, in turn, watches over Ellmi's children's play park, which invites you to linger with a swing, trampoline, climbing carousel, maze, playground and much more. Those who would like to learn more about nature on the Wilder Kaiser can find out everything about flowers, medicinal plants and herbs on the nature trails and in the botanical garden.
On a golden autumn day, we took the cable car up to the Hartkaiser. At the mountain station, we were greeted by traditional brass music. We didn't want to listen to the concert in the restaurant, however, because our destination was the Tanzboden reservoir. We walked there along the road and were able to enjoy the panorama towards Kitzbühel. The town itself cannot be seen. And every now and then we were in the clouds. No camera could capture this special atmosphere. At the reservoir, which we reached after a good half hour's hike, we were able to take beautiful photos of the Wilder Kaiser reflected in the lake. Wow! A short rest on one of the few benches and we set about the snow-covered summit of the Eiberg. After a good twenty minutes of climbing on a path that led partly through trees, we reached the summit. Two new lifts are under construction here and we are the only hikers at this beautiful vantage point! The view swept over the Kaiser, the Berchtesgaden Alps, and reached as far as the high Tauern, the Zillertal and Tux Alps. - The way back took us from the reservoir along the hiking trail back to the mountain station, where the music was still playing. This also leads partly through a forest. It was beautiful!
