Challenging hike with varied terrain, flora and fauna. Sure-footedness is required when climbing up and descending from the Falzerkopf. Not recommended in rain or fog.
This tour is again very promising with brilliant mountain panoramas. From the mountain station at the Didamskopf, it was a part of the panorama path that went down. A small detour to a special vantage point shows the mountain massif of the Hoher Ifen. We continue to the Falzer Kopf, in some places it was still slippery from the rain, but everything went well. From the Falzer Kopf it's a little along the ridge, at the fork we follow the path to the middle station, the paths are always well signposted. All in all a nice round. Pure walking time 2:45 hours.
From the middle station, the route is initially rather leisurely, always on the slope with only a few inclines in the direction of Neuhornbach Haus. Then it's just over 2 hours over the Neuhornbachjoch, Falzer Kopf and the Kreuzle to the Diedamskopf mountain station. From the Neuhornbach Haus, however, very good shoes and surefootedness are required. There are sometimes steep passages over the ridges. Important: the mountain station closes at 4:15 p.m. Then you have to climb to the middle station (wide gravel paths). The valley run is possible until 5:30 p.m.
