in the footsteps of @Daniela H. ☀️❄️ (https://www.komoot.com/de-de/tour/1706379441) and @moelipesche (https://www.komoot.com/de-de/tour/1706304642) Thanks for the cool pre-trip, the pictures and the descriptions 😊. The Italian trail marked S4 (more of a hiking trail) a little way to La Stretta back to the customs is very difficult and involves a lot of carrying/pushing, in my opinion it is only for brave and very experienced bikers and hikers. Unfortunately there are not that many alternatives, the stairs down (from La Colma, at km 25.5) are steep and very difficult (S4) to ride. In return, you can then comfortably go back up the valley along the stream until you reach customs, which is again quite nice but "bumpy"... After customs, it goes up again quite a bit, but as Daniela has already described, it's a lot nicer than our Italian neighbors 😊...
Awesome round with a majestic panorama and what feels like 90% single trails. Can be extended from the Ospizio Bernina Downhill to Poschiavo and back with the Rätischer Bahn (part of the Epic Trail)
