However, the route of "Prologue Amerongen" started elsewhere and skipped the place Amerongen to cycle back and forth. All in all a great route for a few hours of pedaling and being outside.

A fantastic autumn gravel ride over the ridge from De Proloog in Amerongen. At Austerlitz we made a trip to Soesterberg Air Base. A nice division between paved / unpaved with lovely sectors through the forest. Nowhere really technical, but doable for the novice gravel boot.
Cycled before, but a beautiful route does not get boring quickly.
Beautiful route, definitely recommended. There are just a few sections where you are actually not allowed to cycle. But if you want to enjoy a day on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, this is definitely recommended.
