On this almost seven-kilometer circular hike, you climb the Hexenberg. It used to be called Brestlingsberg, but after a woman accused of witchcraft was burned there in 1673, it was given the name it still bears today.

The start and end point of the route is at a car park. The Bad Berka Zeughausplatz train station is not far away and is right on the route, so you can easily get there using public transport.

Beautiful little tour over the Hexenberg - apart from the feeder path to the end of the town, I didn't think that was that great🙄
Otherwise very quiet with wonderful views🤩 and great paths🥰 👌 - perfect for an evening to clear your head😅
