The Mutsbichl is not a "summit", but it is still an elevated and very scenic point. The path in the woods is very beautiful. From the other side of the valley you can see the Wildspitze
Great half day tour with a crisp climb. Then great views of Wildspitze and towards Similaun
Beautiful route with amazing views of the 3000m peaks all around! Walking time was about 2 hours 10 minutes - the rest was enjoyable!
Vent, at 1,900 meters above sea level, is a quiet village in the Ötztal Valley. Located 13 kilometers beyond the bustling town of Sölden. Today, a short hike to Mutsbichl and back via the Ramolalm. Hiking time, including explanations and breaks, is 5 hours.
I'm back in Vent, in the beloved high mountains!!!! The "entry tour" with mountain guide ALFONS was a lot of fun. There are five of us (2 women, 3 men). All experienced hikers. .... Nobody asks how far? For how much longer? How high? ..... No, just follow the guide... and everything is fine. Distinguishing lichen from wolf lichen... How many needles does a stone pine have????the nutcracker collects 70 stone pine nuts in its crop and knows in winter where it has hidden them! Can you do that too???? The Wildspitze can be seen briefly, the Similaun shows up, .... sooo beautiful mountains!!!! Thanks to the fellow hikers, but especially to Alfons!!!
It was a very quiet round. Just met 6 people. The descent was steep in places.
