Every year again. The three-hut hike Schwaigerhütte, Millstätter Hütte and Alexanderhütte has been an integral part of our holiday program at Lake Millstätte for years. By car, take the toll road (€8) to the parking lot at the Schwaigerhütte, where the hike begins. With variations. First the Alexanderhütte or first the Millstätter Hütte. And in one of the two is stopped. And depending on your mood, you can make a detour to Kamplnock or Hochpalfennock and Tschierwegernock. This year it was the turn of the latter two. Incidentally, without the detours, the tour is a stroller-friendly family hike. And it is used by many as such.

Today we descend in the best weather from the Millstätter Hut via Hochpalfennock and Tschierwegernock to the Schwaigeralm. Great distant views when there are degrees of frost above the cloud cover.
An easy hike to get you started. Visit the Schwaigerhütte, Millstätter Hütte, Hochpalfennock, Tschierweger Nock, and Alexanderhütte. We only stopped at the last one.
Today a sporty tour, at least for us flatland Tyroleans 😂 We started at the Schwaigerhütte car park, initially a little uphill on a farm track, but everything was doable. And already with great views of Lake Millstatt, from the Alexanderhütte. From the fork to the Tsçhierwegernock 2010 m. it was a strenuous, steep climb. 😜 But we were rewarded with an amazing view of the lake and the valley. 😍 After this first summit, we continued uphill to the Hoçhpalfennock, but not as steep. 👍 There, too, we were greeted by a magnificent view. From there we went downhill over scree and stones. The next highlight was the Millstätter Hütte, where they serve a very tasty Kaiserschmarrn.😋😋😋 And then we relaxed along the farm track back to the car park. We really enjoyed the tour. 👍👍👍
