Spectacular, but easy to walk: The well-developed rock path takes you along exciting rock cliffs over the Bürgenstock. You can enjoy magnificent views of Lake Lucerne.
The hike is a great half-day trip, for example from Lucerne. You take a boat to the Kehrsiten-Bürgenstock pier and take the train up to the Bürgenstock. After the first section, you can take the impressive Hammetschwand lift towards the summit to save yourself a few meters of altitude. You can then take a detour to the summit cross before descending back to the rock path over the wooded ridge.
