The Réimertour runs along historic Roman roads through the communities of Bertrange and Strassen. The name Strassen refers to the Latin word "strata", which means "road". Remains of a Roman road were found during the construction of the Rue du Kiem and you can find other Roman relics along the family-friendly circular tour. The starting point is at the town hall in Strassen - take some time before or after your cycle ride to explore the parks, playgrounds and restaurants.
On the Rue des Romains you head out into the open countryside with wide meadows and fields. Once you arrive in Bertrange, you can take a break at the town hall square or at one of the refreshment stops. You then cycle past the futuristic thermal baths Les Thermes. After a detour towards Luxembourg City, you return to the starting point.
