This tour takes you through lush pastures and woods where you can be surrounded by silence. The itinerary is easily accessible, but being far from the most popular tourist routes, it allows you to immerse yourself in the wild nature in peace.
The route is mainly downhill and involves returning to the starting point with the help of the cable car.
The itinerary starts from the Feudo pass, at the foot of the majestic Latemar. You can get here with the Latemar MontagnAnimata ski lifts just after Predazzo or with the chairlift from Pampeago. The valley station can be reached by bus or by car which you can leave in the car park.
As soon as you reach the Feudo pass, the view of Lagorai and the Pale di San Martino surprises you. Path 521 is semi-flat and has no roughness: even while walking you can enjoy the spectacle of the wonderful surrounding nature.
In the second part, the path becomes narrower and enters the woods taking you to the Dragon Forest: a wonderful thematic trail for children and families.
Once you reach Baita Gardonè you can stop to taste some delicious typical dishes and enjoy the Dolomite panorama before taking the cable car that takes you back to the starting point.
