It was a very beautiful hike with varied trails through the forest, beautiful rock formations that were very reminiscent of Switzerland, and meadows and large berry fields. Unfortunately, there were no places to stop for refreshments anywhere, so you should bring plenty of provisions.
In this glorious weather, we headed to Gießübler Schweiz in Schleusegrund today – and let me tell you, this isn't a hiking trail, it's a catwalk for nature lovers! Between majestic cliffs and lovely meadows, you practically dance through Thuringia's beauty, always on the lookout for wild raspberries that will bring you to your knees with their irresistible charm – the only thing that helps is a snack! And a little tip for all fashion-conscious adventurers: If you don't feel like involuntary acupuncture, you should wear long pants, because there are bushes with thorns here that are more stubborn than any Monday morning!
Finally managed to start a tour again 😊
Small but nice was tour number 36 from the Roth hiking guide Thuringian Forest (6th edition). Lots of highlights on a short route and a very idyllic route.
Escaped the fog and paid a visit to the Thuringian Forest. We went to Gießübel Switzerland. The route led along a nature trail. First, we went up a narrow path to the Löffelberg lookout point with a wonderful view of Gießübel. Then the route followed a wide forest path. A narrow path then led up to the Dachsbachkanzel and further past some interesting rock formations such as Schröderfelsen and Nadelöhr. Here there were several fallen trees that we had to climb over. Finally, a wide forest path led down to Gießübel. Interesting geotopes, great views, remnants of snow and icicles, but unfortunately also deforested areas and fallen trees characterized the tour.
Mega awesome tour 😃🥰🥰🥰, I'll do it in the summer too. In order to climb the Langertfelsen, you currently have to be very careful going up and down the ladder. The rungs are metal and round. After the Schröderfelsen, the path is very poorly or not at all visible and there are many tree trunks that have to be climbed over or "crawled" through at the bottom. Exactly my thing 😁😁😁 I love stuff like that 😂😂😂
Varied round with lots of information boards ... in great surroundings ...
