We only walked one way because a thunderstorm was approaching. We therefore made the return journey by boat, which costs 15 or 20 euros per person. The 20 euros includes the taxi to the car park (start of the hike). The tour was quite difficult in places, with climbing sections with and without aids. I don't want to walk this route when it's wet, which is why I decided to take the boat. The bay is very beautiful, but quite full even at the beginning of May. So not recommended in high season.
The hike was nice, although I would have liked more viewpoints🤷♀️😉 Not too strenuous, good hiking shoes and about 2 liters of water are recommended 😁 but we also met a man wearing sandals 🙈😅😅 The grotto on the way well😅 Down in Cala Luna everything is geared towards tourism, what a shame!!!!! When we arrived it was still going, then more and more boats came and carted the tourists!!!! At times we counted 50 boats and unfortunately we had to wait for our booked return transfer, which was at 3:30 p.m., otherwise we would have 100% left straight away. It was pure madness, for the END OF SEPTEMBER 🤷♀️🙈 For us, never again Cala Luna, unless in winter😅 Our highlight was the hike there 😉 LG Kathy (PS: at some point everyone wants to do this hike like we do)

The path is very poorly maintained for long stretches: uneven stony ground.
...this time we actually went back to Cala Gonone by taxi boat🩵...Cala Luna is emptier though, when no boats can dock due to high waves, then the only thing you can do is 'hike..hike'🥾😆
...you shouldn't rely on the boat taxi from CalaLuna to CalaFuili or Cala Golone...it doesn't run when there are waves🫣...my husband didn't think it was funny at all ;)...but after an afternoon nap in the grottos , espresso and Ichnusa the way back was ok after all 🙃
Very pleasant route for a walk, some shade, some sun😀. Return from the beach by large boat (price includes transport by bus to the starting point). On one section the GPS signal went crazy 🤔 there were patterns 😉.
