Theme tour: Isental Tour Ampfing Zangberg Salmanskirchen Ranoldsberg Walkersaich Schwindegg Obertaufkirchen Rattenkirchen Weidenbach Heldenstein The Isen is the focus of this themed tour: the 81-kilometer-long river has its source in Maitenbeth and flows into the Inn near Winhöring. On this circular tour, starting from Ampfing, there are always impressive views of the Isental with its numerous little churches and chapels. In the church of Salmanskirchen is the grave of Degenhart Pfäffinger, a contemporary of Martin Luther. The Gothic Madonna (around 1400) in the pilgrimage church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Ranoldsberg near Buchbach is attributed to the Master von Seeon. In Schwindegg you pass a romantic Renaissance moated castle and in Rattenkirchen you can see the baroque Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in the picturesque hills, which can be seen from afar. TIP: Water fun in Bavaria's largest natural and adventure pool "Green Lagoon" in Ampfing.
