Hiking
This tour takes you through a nature reserve in a small side valley. You start at the Kaiserbachtal car park in the Griesenau district, where a bus will take you. The hiking trail runs partly alongside the Kaiserbach and offers a view of the majestic mountains. You can stop for a break at the Fischbachalm. You continue towards the chapel commemorating the emperor's mountain deaths, a place to pause. You then hike into the valley - the destination, the Griesneralm, is not far away. There you will also be provided with delicacies. On the way back you hike the route you already know.

Fantastic way to the "Wilder Kaiser". You walk in the valley along massive, huge rock walls. The Fischbachalm comes about halfway. The food is sublimely good there 😋 At the end of the valley is the Griesbachalm, which burned down and is currently being rebuilt. We walk on a wide dirt road, accompanied all the way by a crystal-clear stream. When the weather is good, the valley is sure to be very busy. For those with foot problems, there is the possibility of taking the toll road that runs parallel to the car to get to the alpine pastures. Even when the temperatures are hot, it is pleasantly cool in the valley.
A wonderful hike on the mostly shady hiking trail. The path (a beautiful, wide hiking trail) leads along the Kaiserbach and is equipped with several exhibits on the topics of animals, forests and the environment. The dialect tree is also very interesting. The High German translation is written on the back of each board. The path leads constantly uphill, but the gradient is moderate and also suitable for families with children.
Parking fees at the toll booth are €3 per day. The toll for the road to the alpine pastures is €6. The hiking trail is theoretically suitable for strollers. So very easy. The Griesneralm is basically new and simply super modern! The interior will knock your socks off because it is so beautifully decorated! The food is great! The service is very friendly.
