First take a nice walk in the snow and then fill your stomach in the Taube inn near the church. 🍖
The Fallbach waterfall is one of the natural highlights in Alberschwende. Due to its somewhat hidden location, it is not widely known. The Fallbach flows from Alberschwende towards Bregenzerach and creates an impressive waterfall, at the foot of which you can linger. Very brave visitors even dare to jump into the cold water. Along the path to the waterfall in spring, a variety of special plants can be discovered, such as different types of orchids or the poisonous four-leafed berry. When staying at the waterfall, no rubbish may be left behind and all food scraps and packaging material must be taken away. A hike to the Fallbach waterfall is always a highlight and is particularly recommended in summer. The fresh air and the cold, clear water at the waterfall provide a pleasant cooling off on hot summer days. The path has short but steep sections and should not be underestimated by inexperienced hikers. The path should not be used when wet. Good, sturdy shoes are definitely recommended.
