An easy hike with a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding three-thousanders awaits you. The starting point is at the mountain station of the Schmittenhöhebahn. You hike leisurely towards the north. The high path first takes you to the rustic Hochzeller Alm with a panoramic terrace. There are a few stops along the way that provide entertainment. The so-called viscopes are viewing telescopes that show specific peaks. In addition, themed boards provide interesting information about flora and fauna, game stations invite you to have fun and exciting tasks to solve puzzles. After about two and a half kilometers you will reach the Sonnkogelalm. Before the descent you can stop at the mountain restaurant.
