The tour starts in Reschwitz. You hike across extensive meadows, through forests and past fruit trees. Along the way you will learn exciting things about the world of bees and beekeeping. On the way back at Holzberg you can make a detour to the witch's house of Baba Jaga, which is also dedicated to a themed trail. Shortly before your destination you can enjoy beautiful views of the Saale valley.

At just under 14 kilometers and a good 350 meters in altitude, this circular hike is a bit more demanding and more suitable for families with older children. The route can also be shortened by climbing west of Holzberg to Knobelsdorf. You can stop off in Lositz along the way. There are many benches and beautifully designed huts along the way that invite you to rest. For a relaxing break you can get a delicious drink from the so-called regional shelves.
