A line of strategically placed benches facing the harbour and with views of the marshes - very nice! On a sunny day, there is no place you'd rather sit on …

From this spot, where the paths cross, to one side there is a jetty and the pipe line and to the other the view of the beautiful Pennington Marshes. A top spot!

Pennington Marshes

Highlight • Lake

Lower Pennington is a local nature reserve mainly for waterfowl. Otherwise, it's a fantastic place for walkers of any kind: wide and comfortable path and beautiful views of Isle of Wight in the distance towards the coast.

May 4, 2024, Keyhaven Marshes loop from Keyhaven

Making the most of late evening sunsets. Found myself venturing over to Keyhaven marshes this evening. absolutely beautiful area. saw a few deer and ponies grazing around the place. Only issue was the midgies. there were thousands of them. I ate so many I didn't need dinner when I got home. :)
