MounTeens Detective Trail on the Hündle

Attend the ecumenical mountain mass at the Hündlekopf summit cross and then continue on the adventure hiking trail towards Schwandalpe/Schwändle and downhill to the Hündle valley station. From June to September - and if the weather permits until the end of October - there are regular ecumenical mountain services at the Hündle summit cross with a wonderful view. The services always begin every Friday at 11.30 a.m.

The summit of the Hündle near Oberstaufen is at 1126 m. It is a versatile hiking area in the Allgäu for families and connoisseurs, and you can easily get up there with the Hündlebahn cable car. You have a wonderful view of the Großer Alpsee and the Hochgrat, and there are also several managed alpine huts for refreshment stops...

Exciting hike for families with lots of stops. We stopped at the Schwändle Brotzeithütte about halfway through the hike, which I can fully recommend. Really delicious Kässpatzen, onion cake and Kaiserschmarrn 😋.

https://youtu.be/r1cCTIEMukI This detective hike is really cool 😎 The path is fairly easy (even if the many downhill sections were a bit tough on the knees), but it is peppered with lots of puzzle stations and challenges 🥰 At the valley station you can buy the corresponding story and have it read (or read aloud) at the individual stations (or have it read to you using a smartphone and QR code) 😉 We really liked the idea and implementation, as a family tour (recommended age 6-14) it is definitely great 👍 Unfortunately it was quite full (thanks to the public holiday and the great weather 🤣)

Today, in the most beautiful 🌞👌 weather, we did our last mountain tour 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️... amazing panorama ⛰️🐂🚡🏞 and so on😊 Of course, many tourists had this idea🙄🙈, but it was definitely beautiful...... The Hündle mountain restaurant has a great selection of food 👌... it tasted delicious 😋

Beautiful circular hike over the Hündlekopf. With a well-made forest nature trail (not just for children). Accordingly, the path is mostly well developed, which is not really our preference. Nevertheless, it is a nice hike with a great view of the Hündlekopf

Small round at the Hündle to Schwande Alpe. Highly recommend the cake 😋 Of course not much going on today, we also got some rain, but we are not made of sugar😉 With children you can walk the relatively new Dedektivweg, don't forget to take the booklet with you at the valley station. In addition, there are also many stations of a forest nature trail on the way. With puzzles and hands-on stations, the children will certainly not be bored either.
