This tour, which is quite short at just over 33 kilometers, is characterized by constant ups and downs on small streets around Wetzikon, which is suitable for all fitness levels. There are no long climbs and no technical difficulties on this route. The route is almost entirely asphalted, with only two short sections having a gravel surface.
The tour leads along signposted Switzerland Mobile routes and begins at a parking lot in Wetzikon. Follow route 86 to Dürnten, then route 99 to Egelsee. Before Wolfhausen you turn onto route 29 and from Mönchaltorf back to the start, you roll on route 41.
In addition to pleasant asphalt paths, the tour also features a stop at the Ritterhaus Bubikon, where you should definitely take a look at the exciting exhibition. If you like, you can also take your swimming costume with you and cool off with a rest at the Egelsee.
You will also find countless restaurants and grocery stores along the way to satisfy your hunger and thirst.
For example, after a good ten kilometers you can get supplies in Lake Beizli at Egelsee near Bubikon. But there are also one or two places to stop for refreshments in Wetzikon.
