From Mantel via Dorfgmünd, Pressath Grosser Russweiher back via Grafenwöhr to Mantel. The tour mostly runs on tarred or gravel cycle paths. A very nice tour, there is also a nice place to stop at the Russweiher.
Today I made the second bike tour of the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district, the family tour to the Russweiher in Eschenbach. After the "sports tour", because I liked it so much, I signed up for this NEW bike tour and the family tour also goes through a wonderful landscape. However, the route differs from the "sports tour" and is clearly "closer to nature", leads mainly on unsurfaced paths through forests, over fields and past a beautiful pond landscape. The tour period continues until August 31, 2021, during this period you can cycle the route and, if you want, take part in the competition. The conditions of participation and the questions should be read carefully beforehand. "Route-related" you don't have to worry about anything, after registering and paying the starter fee of 5 € you will receive the route description with the positions and QR codes of the stations and the gpx file by email. Be careful, the tour is not as well signposted as the other route. You will also receive your starter package with a T-shirt, a power bank, a drinking bottle and stylish sunglasses. Great price-performance ratio for the package and the best, the wonderful landscape is free. I can really recommend this tour, there is so much in it: a great area, a varied route and of course some refreshment stops.
