Nice hike to the Cascade de Bayhon. ...Lots of root paths! The stream passages can be a bit more challenging when it's slippery...but fun...if you're sure-footed. Start at the car park at the Centre Nature de Botrange...it's worth a visit.
The forestry paths aren't that exciting, but the part along the river is very beautiful.
Today we spent an international hiking day. My wife (German) and I (English) went hiking in Belgium with our dog (Bosnia). We greeted the forestry workers there in French. Back in Germany we wanted to treat ourselves to Danish waffles, but the shop was closed. The tour itself was challenging. At the beginning there were lots of roots and slippery stones along a stream. On the last kilometer it started to rain heavily. We put on our rain jacket, but it was too late for our rain pants. We got to the car soaked and only changed our pants there. You don't forget a tour like that in a hurry.
Over roots, sticks and stones, through streams and very muddy paths... but simply beautiful 😊
Nice very steep route, passing by the Bayehon waterfall, dangerous today because iced casi the whole route
