The Rother hiking guide recommended the tour, but we first walked the beautiful little section through the cork oak forest. Then we went on an unpaved road along the railway line into the hinterland. Unfortunately, the reservoir mentioned has dried up completely. Shortly before the end, we go over a hill back into the town.

My favorite person had chosen a trip in the hinterland on the Via Algarviana for his first tour. The highlight was supposed to be a reservoir. But where there is no water, there is no lake 😬 The tour was a recommendation from the Rother travel guide. I gave it 2 stars because of the water turtles. In any case, the weather was great.
