A hike in the dry, hilly hinterland of the Algarve with views of the river that borders Spain. The town of Azinhal doesn't have much to offer.
For this walk we started from a parking lot just outside the village. The road is very well marked and easy to follow. In one place we briefly climbed a hill to get a better view of the border bridge. Furthermore, this is an easy tour with wonderful views and lots of flowers and flowering plants. At the end you take a detour to pass the mill. Fortunately, there is a café in the typical village.
