Small but really nice nature trail. During the season you have to pay a parking fee and an entrance fee (generally in the Bieszczady National Park). There is a toilet, also for wheelchair users. During the season there is also a snack bar. Otherwise there is a covered rest area.
The Tarnawa peat bog is located in the Upper San valley, in the Bieszczady National Park. The border with Ukraine runs nearby. The peat bog is a natural place where there is exceptional peace and quiet. A comfortable, short and interesting walking path with a beautiful view of the mountains leads through the peat bog. The "Tarnawa" peat bog is the largest Bieszczady floristic and peat bog reserve. The reserve was established in 1976, and in 1999 it became an integral part of the Bieszczady National Park. Stretching over an area of approximately 34 hectares, it is located on the border between the villages of Tarnawa Niżna and Tarnawa Wyżna.
