Hiking
This 18 kilometer loop offers one of the most emblematic walks in the Var department, just a stone's throw from the towns of La Ciotat and Cassis. The paths that follow the perimeter of Cape Canaille - the highest European coastal cliff - surprise with their majesty. By following the ridge route, you have absolutely dazzling views of the Bec de l'Aigle, the town of Cassis, the coves, and the Mediterranean Sea. This journey arouses emotion and leaves no one indifferent.
The return via the Chemin de la Roche Redonne is just as magical. The path here evolves among natural curiosities, such as bridges and very curious rocks.
However, it has a disadvantage: if the mistral is too strong, all access is closed to the public. The risk of falling and fire is, in fact, too great. Find out in advance before setting out on the route.
