Hiking

Hiking or playing? If you just can't decide, this tour is the right choice, because both are possible on the Holzkugelweg. Even children who are not big hiking fans (yet) will get their money's worth thanks to the playful nature of the tour.

At the starting point of the tour is the wooden ball machine - stylishly incorporated into a tree trunk. As soon as all small and large members of your group have purchased a ball, the adventure can begin.

The children can look forward to lovingly designed wooden tracks. While the balls are whizzing through the lanes, it's also worth taking a look at the surroundings. Your hike is accompanied by wonderful views of Serfaus and the impressive, towering peaks of the Tyrolean mountain landscape.

The path leads you steadily downhill and ends at the Sunliner valley station in Serfaus. You can take the balls home with you after the tour - as a nice souvenir of an eventful hike. The starting point of the Holzkugelweg is below the Alpkopfbahn middle station. So you can float wonderfully from Serfaus up to the tour.

The first stop on the Holzkugelweg is here. If you haven't bought a wooden ball made of pine wood at Seealm Hög, you can do so at the machine here for 2 euros and accompany the marbles on the wild journey down through several stations.

The marble run trail to Serfaus starts at Högsee. You walk along various nicely designed tracks into the valley. You have to watch out for the marbles every now and then, as they tend to jump off the track.

Small but very nice descent to the Hög Alm via the wooden ball path :).
Our little one was enthusiastic about the wooden play stations and was sad when they were over.
Very suitable for families and strollers.

Girls' day today. First a nice swim, kayaking and sunbathing at Högsee and then the wooden ball path down to Serfaus. Conclusion: Serfaus - Fiss - Ladis is really beautiful in summer too 👍
